A Great Man Has Appeared on the Horizon

Born in 1968 in Hong Kong to a British family, Roger Hamilton immediately showed everyone around him that he would grow to change the world. A smart and curious child, Roger quickly adapted to the various changes and relocations that he experienced.

After attending one of the most prestigious schools in Hong Kong, King George the V School, his family relocated to Papua New Guinea. Following that, Roger resided in the United Kingdom for a while, ultimately getting a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Cambridge in 1989.

It is at this point that Roger’s philosophy of life started to burgeon; how to learn more about all the different places in the world? How to study these spaces architecturally? How to approach city planning? And from here - How to approach thinking about planning? How to approach thinking about thinking? How do we teach people how to think?

At this point, the Roger J. Hamilton that we know now was born. Of course, his genius developed in the span of many years, but this was how it came to be! It’s beginnings that interest us most - just like they interest Roger the most!

We can go on talking about his life forever - it’s so eventful that we could even write a book on it!

Hold on a minute - Roger, himself, has already written a number of books!

Indeed - he’s quite the polymath, isn’t he? He spent his entire life going on entrepreneurship and education-related adventures, and Genius Group is just the cherry on top!

The Tale of Roger Hamilton, the Emancipator of Minds

Roger’s first move after graduating in 1989 was to start a company! That’s right! At the age of 21, Roger was already the co-founder of the London-based publishing company Footprints which, until its sale in 1994, revolutionized the world of pictorial maps!

As soon as this chapter closed, however, another had already started! Roger developed another company, Hand Technologies, before abandoning that endeavor completely and moving to Singapore. Roger decided to make Singapore, the city of the future, his home, where he still resides. Singapore is also the place of founding Free Market Media and Expat Living magazine.

Still, the world had seen nothing yet!

After writing his first book in 2002, the international best-seller Wink and Grow Rich, Roger did two crucial things that defined the rest of his life. Firstly, he co-founded the XL Group, as a system for connecting social entrepreneurs around the globe.

Secondly, Roger invented Wealth Dynamics, a personality-profiling tool, modeled after the psychoanalyst Carl Jung’s interpretation of the ancient, Chinese book of wisdom I Ching. This system serves to discover - and improve - the psychological strengths and weaknesses of individual entrepreneurs and members of entrepreneurial teams.

It was Wealth Dynamics that fundamentally altered the state of things. By tapping into the minds of people, Roger allowed potential businesspeople to see who they actually were and to realize who they could become one day.

Countless companies and individuals profited from his revolutionary idea, enabling the success of millions of startups to skyrocket exponentially. Roger was, of course, aware of this, as he kept working at the XL Group. While putting his knowledge to good use by collaborating on international projects, Roger also authored many books about business, life, psychology, and success.

Only after the establishment of Talent Dynamics, a specific corporate variant of Wealth Dynamics, Roger outlined a new, superior company meant to appear to the world.

Accompanied by Roger’s other best-seller, The Millionaire Masterplan published in 2014, Roger wrapped up the emerging of the newly-invented company.

Interestingly, all that’s been going on coincided with Roger founding the Green School in Bali, which focused specifically on children. Roger’s Green School focused on unveiling new education practices, raising environmental awareness, and training young minds.

Roger simply put two and two together, and in 2015 launched GeniusU, the education-focused EdTech part of the Entrepreneurs Institute. Incidentally, GeniusU was also the first version of what we today know as Genius Group.

The Road to Becoming a Genius

Don’t get us wrong - Roger doesn’t need to become a genius, he already is one!
